Unimaginative Obami: It has been observed that a failure of imagination--on our part, not the jihadis’--led to 9/11. One would think that now that the unimaginable has happened, the hopeychangers would be able to foresee the consequences of putting the 9/11 mastermind and his cohorts on trial in the city where the unimaginable occurred. Alas, they hopeychangers are, well, hopeless, so David Beamer of the Wall Street Journal steps into the breach and tells them (and us) what could ensue:
Our enemies must be thrilled. We are willingly handing them an opportunity to inflict economic harm on New York City, keep their cause in the headlines, gather new intelligence, create new terror strategies, stimulate recruiting, celebrate new-found rights, and foist a fresh round of pain and suffering upon their victims.
This decision is September 11, the sequel. It is my hope that [U.S. Attorney General] Mr. Holder will reconsider.
Hope springs eternal. But then, so does the jihad.

Goes to show one more level of beuracrats, aka, Homland Security Department, doesn't mean one more level of security. Especially when the liberal core beliefs that allowed  the threat to be ignored for years the first time,  'privacy' and 'kumbaya', has not changed.....and won't.

The chickens are watching the foxes.
